After graduating from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey earning a B.A. degree with a double major in English and Women’s Studies, Ms. El Masri earned her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in 1990.  Ms. El Masri’s legal career has included work as an attorney in both corporate and law firm environments specializing in commercial litigation, commercial and residential real estate, commercial lease disputes and negotiations, construction law, homeowner association litigation, commercial contracts, oil & gas contracts, oil & gas litigation, employment law, transactional business acquisitions, liability and insurance litigation. Ms. El Masri has also worked as a prosecutor for The State of Texas Department of Public Safety.

Ms. El Masri, is originally from New Jersey and has resided in Houston, Texas since 1983.
